This past weekend was nothing short of magical. I had the unexpected chance to attend an event with Kamala Harris—a spontaneous, last-minute event that turned into an unforgettable experience. But what made it even more special was that I brought my little girl with me.
There’s something so powerful about knowing that one day I’ll be able to look her in the eyes and say, “You were there when we were working to elect the first woman President of the United States.” Even better it was captured on video and pictures.
As I spoke with Kamala, and she looked at my daughter and said “She is why I do this”, I felt the weight of the moment. Not just for me, but for every mother, daughter, and family who believes in a future where equality, justice, and progress aren’t just ideals—but realities. Kamala Harris represents that future, and to be part of this journey is something I will carry with me forever.
Now, I’m just days away from hosting my own fundraiser for Kamala and the Democratic Party. I’m beyond proud to say, “I took action when it counted.” I’ve talked to my friends, reached out to my family, and used every platform I have to help rally support and make a difference.
